Education and TrainingI have a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Calgary and am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I completed my practicum training with the Centre for Abuse and Trauma Therapy in Kingston, Ontario,.
Prior to studying at the University of Calgary, I worked for the Department of National Defence as an Intelligence Analyst. I had completed a Master of International Affairs at Carleton University's Norman Paterson School of International Affairs to qualify for that position. I have been practicing as a Psychotherapist since September 2017 and my private practice was launched on August 1st, 2019. I chose the name Help in Healing, because I work from the premise that the healing journey is a partnership between therapist and client in which I provide assistance, based on study and training, to guide my clients through the healing process toward a more positive and fulfilling future. |
